A small lidded box shaped like a turtle, decorated in deep indigo blue with a playful polka dot pattern.
It carries a nostalgic, folkloric charm, and features the inscription 「五良太甫 呉祥瑞造 (Goryotaiho / Goshozui Zo)」 inside the lid.
This mark was often used on Japanese ceramics from the late Meiji to early Showa period (circa 1900–1940s), referencing the legendary Chinese potter Goshozui.
Its expressive form and traditional glazing technique make it a delightful collector's piece or a unique container for small treasures.
Note:
This is a vintage item and may show minor imperfections, irregularities in the glaze, or signs of aging.
