This is a traditional indigo-dyed textile called “Ndop,” made by the Bamileke people of Cameroon in West Africa.
Ndop fabrics feature symbolic geometric patterns drawn entirely by hand, and have historically been used for ceremonial purposes by royalty and warriors.
Each piece is deeply tied to the spiritual and cultural beliefs of the Bamileke people, and no two designs are ever exactly the same.
Please note that the natural dyes may cause some color fading.
Irregularities in color, dripping, or distortion may be present due to the handcrafted nature of the item.
