A vintage hand-woven rug made by the Baluch people, who have long lived across the Baluchistan region spanning Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Baluch rugs were not simply floor coverings — they were everyday tools of nomadic life, used as tent dividers, storage bags, and more. Made to be used for generations, they are known for their exceptional durability, and the fact that vintage pieces survive in such good condition speaks for itself.

The deep red ground with geometric patterns in black is a hallmark of Baluch weaving. Look closely and you'll find subtle variations in the red — a richness of color that has only deepened with time.
