金子駒商店について

民芸の「いい塩梅の大雑把さ」に魅力を感じます。完璧じゃない、でもちゃんと実用的で、心がほぐれるような美しさ。自然界の生き物のような、どこか不器用な愛くるしさがあって、日々の暮らしの中で、ふとした瞬間に笑顔をくれる。そんなものたちに出合うたびに、わたしは心が朗らかになります。

2025年のはじめ、大切な家族である猫の駒が天国へ旅立ちました。駒は、わたしにとって日常の中心であり、人生の様々な転機を導いてくれた存在でした。そのやさしさと愛らしさ、穏やかで大らかな気配を、これからも何かの形で世界に届けていきたい。そんな思いで、この「金子駒商店」を始めました。

お店のコンセプトはとてもシンプルです。

「良いもの　わたしの好きなもの」

ジャンルや伝統、国やルーツという枠にとらわれず、ただ「好き」という直感に正直に、民芸・工芸・アンティークの中から、心を朗らかにしてくれるものを集めています。最終的には、国や言葉の垣根を超えて、趣味や価値観の近い人たち同士が、お互いの「好き」をシェアできるような場所をつくるのがひとつの夢です。まずは自分の手の届くところから。そして、駒のように、そっと寄り添いながら誰かの暮らしにやさしい光を届けていけたら嬉しいです。

 

About Kaneko Coma Shoten

I’m drawn to the warm, gentle roughness found in folk crafts. They’re not perfect, but they’re practical, and they carry a kind of beauty that puts you at ease. Like wild animals with a bit of clumsy charm, they bring quiet smiles to ordinary moments. Each time I find something like that, it lifts my spirits.

In early 2025, my beloved cat Coma passed away. She was at the center of my daily life, quietly guiding me through many turning points. Her gentleness, her calm presence, and her lovable nature are qualities I still want to share with the world in some form. That feeling is what led me to start Kaneko Coma Shoten.

The concept of the shop is simple:

“Good things, the things I love.”

I follow my instinct, choosing folk art, crafts, and antiques that feel right regardless of genre, tradition, or country of origin. One day, I hope this place will connect people who share similar tastes and values, across borders and languages. For now, I’m starting close to home. And like Coma herself, I hope this shop can quietly brighten someone’s everyday life.
